She loves her carrier!

I've been taking Sammie for walks in her new carrier. She starts saying, "No!" and "Hi Bird" the minute we walk out of the loft. The elevator seems to fascinate her and she stares at the ceiling.

Some of the workmen and residents look at her strange as we walk by. Maybe they think it's a fake bird or something.

She seems to enjoy our walks and talks to me and her pupils dilate as she takes in the new sights (this action means she's excited and enjoying it). I'm sure the fresh air is good for her.

Only problem: When I return to the flat and try to get her to come out of the carrier, she refuses. She'll even try to bite me when I put my hand in the carrier. Last time we went walking, she stayed in the carrier for over two hours. Strange bird.

Hey, variety is the spice of life! It's something new and I like it. I mean, how long can you hang out on a perch or sit in your cage?

Yea, you're back! We missed you bird!! I have a picture of your old home from my computer window from yesterday's post. All I could do is stare out my window....totally exhausted! Glad your weather has warmed up enough to go outside for walks!

Whatcha been doing to make you so tired? How does our yard look? Are they taking care of it well?

Second showing today or yesterday so maybe we'll get the beast sold. Then, I can come back to move the furniture and we can have another girls nite out!

Oh...so Elliott the Texan cat that is now a French cat, is asking what I taste like. In your dreams you'd ever find out. And anyway, Mommie Dianne has told me all about you and how you hide when she comes to visit. Speaking of chicken...
