Out for blood!!!!!

In this picture, Sammie is looking for Daddy Dave, who had run into the bathroom and closed & locked the door (like Sammie knows how to unlock doors!) to escape her.

He walks close to her while she's on her perch and talks to her or drops cherry seeds (one of her favorites) in her bowl. I guess it makes her mad because she jumped off the perch and started chasing him, running on the floor. She wanted a piece of his foot for sure! He ran away quickly while yelling at me to get my bird. She was biting on the bottom of the bathroom door, trying to get him!

He's invading my personal space!

Was Sammie mad because the cherries were already eaten and he doesn't like the pits?

Rosa said you moved a baby grand piano half way round the country. Did a moving company move the piano? Do moving companies have piano moving training? I have a piano and furniture I need to move from my Dad's in Klamath Falls to here in Corvallis, over half-way up the state, and don't know if I can do it all at once or who can do it? Should piano's only be moved by Piano Movers?

First visit here, Diane. I really came to see Sammie...LOL...sorry, no offense! I have a blue and gold macaw and she asked me to check out Sammie. Fun site!!! I was wondering how the music box is working out. I saw them and wanted to try, but WeeWee destroys things so easily. (Yeah, WeeWee, becuz she rolls on the floor and squeals like a pig). Right now it's pouring down heavy rain and she is sitting on her perch by the window saying..."bye bye....bye bye...bye bye". Does that mean she wants me to take her out in the rain? Geesh, she already ate all the bananas out of my cereal this morning! Getting a little pushy, now. Sigh........ :)

    Hi Vita!

Most if not all, professional moving companies know how to move pianos. They have a special cart and wrap the piano in pads and basically, put big seat belts around it.

Our movers had to take our piano down 27 very steep steps and I was holding my breath the entire time but it got her with no damage at all.

Hope this helps and good luck!

    Hi Judie!!!

I'm cracking up about Wee Wee! How funny is she? Would love to see pictures.

Sammie can abuse her toys too but so far, the music box has held up very well. She was playing it this morning (over and over again).

I took her to Lake Calhoun today for a stroll. We were stopped quite a few times by curious people along the way. She just stared at them but in the car, she was dancing and talking up a storm so I think she liked it.

Do you take Wee Wee out often?
