Amazing picture

If you check closely, the picture above is a hand. Some people are so talented.

We went to the flat where we'll be moving soon, to measure. I took Sammie along in her carrier. The echo fascinated her and she had a very long and ongoing conversation with herself. It was all in a male voice, one I haven't heard before. We hid behind the door and just listened to her.

In our next flat, Sammie will have her own room. It will also be used for an office but she'll be able to sleep better, away from the television, something she needs. She's very good at adapting to change so should be just fine.

My own room? How cool is that? Can I decorate it myself?

The family...

It seems that my family is demanding equal time for their pets. This bird blog is becoming an anything goes blog!

This is Vaida, my son and daughter in law's beast. To say she's active is so below what she really is. She's happy all the time, like she's smiling.

When I was visiting, I decided to sweep the kitchen because Vaida had shed so much hair and before I could grab the dust pan, she had eaten all the hair! She also decided to eat some of the laundry room wall. Oh those labs...

Okay, that's it! No more dogs or cats on my blog! They are invading my personal space.

I found this picture on the birds of a feather site. You can get an idea of how cute African Greys are when they are very young. The red tip of the tail is just starting to grow. His name is Kito.

I have a horrible bruise on my arm where Sammie bit me because she decided she didn't want to get her shower. She actually flew out of the sink so I had to chase her down and put her back in the sink and she finally gave in. I look like a battered woman on one arm.

Kito is one handsome dude. The shower thing...I hate them! I always feel better afterward but water is not my natural habitat! Give me a large, tall tree and I'm happy.
